QB Analysis

Marshall gets an ideal matchup in the final week of the regular season for most Fantasy leagues, as he gets Texas A&M and its 82nd-ranked run defense. He’s hit on 75 percent of his passes the last two weeks, making Marshall more potent….Mariota leads all players with a 35.4 Fantasy points per game total and has been the mark of consistency, hitting the 30-point barrier in eight of his nine games….He’s been up and down all season, but why would you bench Petty, especially in a potential shootout against Oklahoma….Hundley has averaged 106 rushing yards per game the last four weeks, yet has been equally efficient as a passer…Golson comes off a season-best 47.4 Fantasy point effort against Navy and should have a solid afternoon against Arizona State….Cato has thrown at least one TD pass in 39 straight games. Bank on 40 (and then some) against hapless Southern Mississippi….Keep the faith in Doughty, who threw four interceptions in their 59-10 rout against Louisiana Tech. Expect a strong rebound week…Prescott’s value will be tempered as the nation’s top team gets a cupcake in Tennessee-Martin. He’ll probably play a half at best, but should still put up starter-worthy numbers….Falk threw for 370 yards and a pair of scores in relief of injured Connor Halliday and should duplicate the numbers against an Oregon State team playing out the string….Boykin struggled a bit against West Virginia and could be challenged by a tougher Kansas State D.

RB Analysis

As hot as he has been the last seven weeks, Gordon’s 24.8 Fantasy points against Rutgers was a “mild” disappointment. No worries, as he’ll get back into the 30-plus range against Purdue….Johnson has four straight 30-plus Fantasy point game, including a 51.2 point outing in Marshall’s last game….Ajayi has seven touchdowns in the last three weeks and will visit the end zone at least once against New Mexico….The last time Pumphrey put up a 9-point week, he followed up with a 30-point outing. Keep that in mind when he faces Idaho’s tepid defense…Linwood has benefited from Baylor’s increased emphasis on the run, which will make him a must-go against Oklahoma….Those who picked up Chubb in the wake of the Todd Gurley scandal have thrived on his numbers, which will stay steady when Georgia faces Kentucky…Cox has 373 yards and six TDs the last two weeks and gets a Louisiana-Monroe defense that played over its head at Texas A&M….Artis-Payne has been overshadowed by Marshall, but is a must-go against Aggies’ suspect run D….McGuire followed up a 50-point week with a solid 26-pointer. His numbers will fall somewhere in between when Louisiana-Lafayette meets New Mexico State….Four straight 100-yard games and eight touchdowns has made Gordon a high-end start.

WR Analysis

Don’t be too concerned about Higgins’ injured shoulder, as the nation’s leader in receiving yards and touchdowns will go against a Wyoming secondary allowing 244 yards per game and 18 touchdowns….Cooper has 17-364-4 in his last two games and will give LSU’s secondary fits in prime time….White has cooled off significantly the last two weeks, but should revert back to his usual numbers against Texas…..Lucas gets a very friendly matchup against SMU and is in a stretch of four straight 100-yard games….Spruce bounced back from his recent slump with 13-138-0 against Washington, making it safe to put him back into your lineup….Goodley is back in tune with Petty and will be targeted in the double digits as Baylor and Oklahoma should light up the scoreboard….The same can be said about Shepard and Trevor Knight, as they should get plenty of chances on Baylor’s secondary…After missing the first seven games, Parker has made up for lost time with 17-346, with his first TD coming soon (like this week)…Lippett is still starter-worthy even if Michigan State gets into a lower than expected score against Ohio State…Vaughan has been up and down during ODU’s five-game losing streak, yet remains very intriguing.

TE Analysis

Of course Johnson’s the top choice if he’s still qualified at TE…Bibbs leads all players at his position with six touchdowns….Brown is Mariota’s top option in the red zone….Christian still has value even with the return of Parker to Louisville’s passing game….Pierce has developed a knack for finding the goal line for the Golden Flashes…Expect Miller to get his share of touches in Texas State’s passing game, as the matchup against Georgia Southern could get wild….Bell lacks a high number of touches, but he’s extremely dangerous when Oklahoma hits the red zone….If Minnesota isn’t looking to RB David Cobb to deliver near the goal line, the Golden Gophers turn to Plan B in the form of Williams….This should be a good week to own Price, as Mississippi State will use their gimme game to fine-tune its passing attack…Smith is the nation’s leader in receptions at the position, yet has been unable to find the end zone of late.
