Bye weeks for Marcus Mariota (Oregon), Teddy Bridgewater (Louisville) and Bryce Petty (Baylor) opens the door for new faces in the Top 10, headlined by Carr, whose 315.7 yards per game through the air ranks eighth in the nation. His numbers should be further padded against a Nevada secondary that has allowed 24 touchdown passes. Heinicke – provided your league allows ODU players – averages 340.7 yards per game and is also a red zone threat with his running….Mannion comes off a season-low 14 Fantasy point effort against Stanford; he may face a second straight disappointing week against USC’s pass defense. Outside Looking In: Arizona State’s Tommy Kelly has averaged at least 26.3 points over the last five games and should be a lock for six straight against Washington State.
RBs
Beast Mode, thy name is Andrews, who rushed and received for over 100 yards last week. Pity Georgia State’s defense, which must contend with Andrews this week….not to be outdone in the all-purpose department, Grice comes off a bye following 62.9 Fantasy points in his last two games and faces Washington State’s shaky defense….Gordon and his 9.5 yards per carry also returns from an open week as Wisconsin’s Next Big Thing at RB gets to feast on Iowa….just because Ajayi’s streak of six games with a touchdown was snapped last week doesn’t mean a thing. He’ll pick up where he left off against Colorado State. Outside Looking In: Tim Cornett of UNLV racked up 21.3 Fantasy points last week; San Jose State’s banged-up defense may provide him the 169 yards he needs to cross the 1,000-yard barrier.
WRs
Ho, hum. Another week of Cooks and Evans ranked 1-2, which means their owners can simply relax and watch the points accumulate….Gallon won’t top the 48.9 Fantasy points he rained upon Indiana, yet should be a reliable Must-Start against Michigan State….Jones has been blistering hot over the last two weeks and should carry that over in what could be a shootout against UNLV….Greenberry’s numbers have been on the upswing as Houston becomes more reliant on the pass again. That spells Happy Halloween for his owners as the Cougars host South Florida. Outside Looking In: Despite what appears to be a tough matchup against South Carolina, Mississippi State’s Jameon Lewis is an intriguing option. He’s the only FBS wideout who has caught, ran and threw for a touchdown this season.

Amaro is a lock for good numbers as Texas Tech and Oklahoma State seems primed for an offensive slugfest….Funchess’ numbers could increase if Michigan State focuses too much on Jeremy Gallon….O’Leary had just one catch (albeit a touchdown) last week; count on him to better that against Miami (Fla.)….AS-J owners have to be flustered with his disappointing numbers, but have taken solace in that he’s scored in four of the last five games.
